Dr. Halbert strives to help people reduce pain and improve their ability to do the things in life that really matter. He is honest, compassionate, and truly cares about your health and well-being. When he's not working with patients, Dr. Halbert enjoys playing music, dancing argentine tango, designing board games, getting coffee, and spending time with his friends and family.

CERTIFICATIONS and continuing education

Dr. Halbert has received additional training and maintains active lumbar and cervical region certifications for the Cox Technic, which is proven in scientific research and known by many medical professionals as one of the best, most cost-effective, gentle, and safe non-surgical treatments available for some of the most common causes of chronic spine pain, including disc herniation, sciatica, spondylolisthesis, and spinal stenosis.

Dr. Halbert has received additional training and advanced certification from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, a leader in automobile collision biometrics, physics, research, and treatment. Notably with focus on low speed rear impact collisions, which have been shown to cause significant neck and back pain, headache, jaw pain, upper and lower extremity joint pain, and concussive brain trauma even at very low speeds.

Additionally, thanks to his wife’s specialty in Naturopathic medicine, Dr. Halbert is developing more and more knowledge and finding safe and gentle ways to help reduce pain and improve function for patients with difficult to manage chronic pain conditions like Lyme Disease and other infectious processes, fibromyalgia, environmental toxicity conditions like mold, and auto-immmune and connective tissue conditions.

UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN STATES

Dr. Halbert graduated with honors from this prestigious chiropractic university, noted as a leader in evidence informed clinical education and firmly rooted in both basic sciences and hands on learning, with a state of the art cadaver laboratory, rigorous scholastic standards, and a patient focused clinical experience. He was fortunate to experience a special 3 month clinical preceptorship program, working directly in the field with noted veteran chiropractor Dr. Bryce Milam.

Additionally, for several years after graduation, Dr. Halbert worked as a faculty teaching assistant at his alma mater, helping future generations of dedicated practitioners to hone their skills while solidifying his own knowledge-base and technique.

UNIVERSITY OF OREGON

Prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Halbert graduated with honors from this local university, majoring in both history and humanities with a minor in French. Concurrently, he both attended and completed his advanced research thesis on race relations to graduate from the rigorous Robert D Clark honors college program.
